Description
Pulj is signed to one year deal

*Kase had the same amount of playoff points as Pulj in 9 less games*

The 4th line can be moved around a lot by calling up Robertson and sending down Clifford or Abruzzese, or putting Blackwell centre and having either Robertson, Simmonds, Clifford, Engvall, or maybe an AHL prospect on the wing

    1. Anderson, Joey

    Additional Details:
Anderson had a good year in the AHL and I think he has a better chance fitting into the oilers lineup than he does in the leafs. Kase is a good two way winger who can help penalty kill and can play anywhere. The downside is he is injury prone. Which is why Anderson is added in this trade.

    Intriguing.

Puljujarvi is such an intruiging option to trade for, very polarizing player with some pretty decent upside.

    Yeah, that doesn't get Puljujarvi.

Other teams will smoke that offer out of the water.

Edit: to add to this, EDM won't trade him if he's willing to take 1.8

That's not even close for Puljujarvi, trade value or contract wise

I think he'd fit in well with Toronto's middle 6. That being said, he has a potentially high acquisition cost and isn't going to be this cheap, so it may not be worth it.

I'd also prefer a much experienced backup behind Husso. He is no slam dunk. Holtby or a trade for somebody like Reimer would be better.

RFAs who get traded to a new team who haven't really done much probably aren't expecting to get the same offer as they would from their original team on a one year deal.

Flames decline, zero reason to trade our backup and rush wolf for an AHLer and a refund

The value is about right if they are willing to gamble on Kase's health assuming they actually want him. Anderson is in there because Puljujarvi is younger but the trade here is assuming Kase signs for less in Edm than what Puljujarvi does in Edm.

It is possible that both guys would sign for less on a one year contract on their new team
