13.7 in cap space before extensions:
Larkin- 7 x 8.75M- leaves 11.05M cap space
Bertuzzi- 5 x 6.25M- leaves 9.55M cap space

+11.3M after Panik, Nielsen, Abdelkader, Staal, Monahan come off the books.

2023 Offseason- 20.85 in cap space
Seider- 8 x 8.25M- leaves 13.46 in cap space
Raymond- 5 x 6.75M- leaves 7.63 in cap space
Suter- 3 x 3.75M- leaves 7.13 in cap space
Veleno- 3 x 1.5M- leaves 6.524 in cap space
Lindstrom- 3 x 2M- leaves 4.524 in cap space
Smith - 2 x 1M- leaves 4.274 in cap space
Rasmussen- 3 x 2.75M - leaves 2.98 in cap space
Hronek- 4 x 4.5M- leaves 2.88 in cap space
Nedeljkovic- 3 x 4.75M- leaves 1.12 in cap space

Money freed up after Holbty, Martinez, and Oesterle come off the books: 8.85M + any cap increase or traded contracts can be used in FA 2023 or 2024.

Roughly 2.75M set aside for Soderblom, Johansson, and Wallinder’s ELCs eventually making the roster over the next couple of years.

    I like these moves overall but I heard with Martinez his injury is something to look out for

    You're way too low on the Seider signing, He'll easily get closer to 8 x $9.0M to 8 x $9.5M coming out of his ELC Especially if he puts up another 50 point season these 2 next years.

    Staal isn't a NHL player any longer, get Pettersson from PIT now when he can be had for a 3rd.
    Martinez carries a very high risk of losing his sight on one eye and you've overpaid for him, look into Schmidt instead (who playes both sides too).
    Monahan isn't bringing in enough to warrant the effort and I doubt we get paid to take him at all, might just as well keep Stephens.

    Otherwise there seems to be no problems.

    Agreed. I just split the difference between Makar and Hughes.

    Monahan and Martinez are the “cap space” guys. Both are TDL options.
