Leafs play Mrazek for the first half of the year. Try to get his confidence up and either trade him with a sweetener if he regains his form or keep him if he is doing well. Or if he plays good but they still want to trade him maybe they can get something in return for him.

I wouldn't trade sandin, he's part of leafs future soooo I'd keep him. I also wouldn't sign Liljegren for $1,875,000. he worth at least 1.2 million. unsign stone micheal and that could be sandins contract. or trade liljegren because he isn't any better then sandin

Lyubushkin is worth more then that, imo around 3 million. Top pairing d-men don't make that.

The goaltending here is terrifying. If Mrazek doesn't rebound you have potentially the worst crease in the NHL with no help on the horizon.

I don't really see the point of making that LA trade since you then have to sign two average to below average defencemen. Kessel probably doesn't deserve to make 3 million and definitely isn't going to hack it on the top line.

Kessel isn't coming back to Toronto - he hated the attention and media scrutiny. He certainly isn't coming back for league minimum. He had 50 points on the worst team in the league. Maybe TBL gets him for that, but not Toronto

Kerfoot may be worth a 2nd rounder at TDL...to a contending team, and the Leafs would out of the playoffs
But you're right, all these Kerfoot trades to out playoffs teams for the entire season for a second rounder is foolish. Teams just spend 3.5m on a UFA or whatever and keep that picking the 30s.

LOL. Came on here expecting to read one of Kerfoot, Holl, or Mrazek traded to Seattle! (Or all 3, sometimes, but usually the case for 1 of them!) Pleasantly surprised that this ACGM proposed a trade to the Kraken I think they would actually consider!
