Could be ten years for all Holland cares, he's on a 2 way deal, I don't know if he even sees the NHL unless things have gone very sideways for the Oilers next season. Makes a ton of sense to have a big veteran in Bakersfield.

was expecting him to just sign an AHL deal with the Condors but whatever this is fine, he is the Condors Captain so Woodcroft clearly likes him

Then why not sign him to an AHL deal instead?

Sure it's a nothing contract but I'm not a fan of tying up the 50-man list with names that aren't NHL caliber skaters.

He saw NHL ice time this past season. He even played in the playoffs.

Because he likely goes elsewhere for a 2 way deal. Holland clearly liked him, I get what you're saying though.

what? he is over 18 so that means can play in the NHL

Kenny Holland needs to sign a few young guys and leave the 33 year old AHL players Malone.
