Probably the best Fiala -> Buffalo offer I've seen, and not far fetched as far as the trade goes. Good work

Doubt it would happen
We’re very high on Peterka, especially after the playoff run he just had

Mittelstadt might be available though- might
And idk that we’d trade pick 16
The FLA 1st might be the highest pick we’d offer

U probably wouldn’t want Bjork
He’s just a depth guy who projects as our 13th forward this year

Finally a good Fiala to Buffalo trade and it didn’t even come from a Sabres fan lol

You can easily tell that, because Peterka is unavailable

They have 13 or 14 NHL forwards right now. Peterka is easily below Quinn and Krebs on the prospect chart. Every single trade suggested by a Sabres team on here that includes Peterka draws out all sorts of venom and I don't get it. They're probably restocking with another top 10 forward as well and Peterka isn't worth FIALA? Insane.

Would I move Peterka just because? No. But for a proven prime age player, absolutely. Even if JJP has a great career, Buffalo has so many other young forwards, and Peterka right now is nowhere near Fiala's level and odds are he doesn't get there. This trade would push the Sabres forward quite a bit in the present time.

So mate, love the trade if it could happen. Feels like the goalies are just throwing two against the wall and hoping they work......I just fear Husso is Carter Hutton 2.0 but I get the sentiment. Klingberg at that price would be awesome but I think he's gonna get a Dougie Hamilton deal since he's still under 30 and there aren't a ton of RD options out there.

I'm aware that Bjork is a valueless throw in, but let me get this straight, your top offer for a 25 year old who just scored 85 points might* be a 23 year old who can't stay healthy and hasn't shown much development alomg with the 28th overall pick? Might!?

I sincerely hope that you don't have your heart set on him cause if that's the best you can do, you don't have a shot at getting him. No ELC or even prospect and maybe a late 1st?

Top 9 wingers: Skinner, Tuch, Peterka, Quinn, Krebs, Oloffson. Centers: TT, Cozens, Mitts. With Asplund and Okposo being 4th line, able to move up if necessary. It's all set.
VO and Mitts are only possible to trade - I doubt anyone would trade for Skinner. Jokiharju, all the picks should be available, maybe Isak Rosen also.

Sabres will not trade Peterka or Quinn without having them on ice full time first. There is too much hope in them.

Klinberg is offensive RD, and Sabres need shutdown, defensive vet. They have two puck moving defenders who will eat 50 minutes of playtime for next 10 years.

Sabres are looking for stop gap 1A, because I doubt Kuemper or anyone established will commit long term. Could be Husso, could be Comrie, could be DeSmith, could be Campbell. Backup will be UPL and probably Anderson, with games started in proportions like 35g- 1A, 25g UPL, 20g Anderson.

Best case scenerio for me - sign Josh Manson to play with Power. Run the young guys, and if playoffs are possible look to add someone like Patrick Kane, who might be available at the deadline.

First of all, i never said what *my* top offer for Fiala would be
And frankly, that doesn’t matter
It matters what the *Sabres* offer would be
But i didn’t say what i thought their *top offer* would be either

Here’s the problem with your line of thinking….
I’m not saying we’d make the best offer for him
We’d likely get outbid imo, bc i don’t think the Sabres are putting much value on bringing in a top6 winger this offseason

So u *might* just wanna check yourself a bit here pal

Just bc fans come on this site & throw around nonsense trades doesn’t mean they have any basis in reality

Also, i never said a proposal from us would include *only* pick 28 & Mittelstadt
Could i see a reasonable (imo) offer from Buffalo being something like Mittelstadt, FLA 1st & a prospect- say Ryan Johnson (who goes to the U of Minnesota, was a 1st round pick a few years ago, and has been playing well since)
Yeah, i could see the Sabres doing something like that

Would that be enough to get him?
Idk
But if you’re looking for a return like DeBrincat is gonna get,
it’s very unlikely to come from Buffalo (again, imo)
