Description
I'm not sure about the value of Mittelstadt I think he just needs a change of scenery. I think picking up a young replacement in the process helps.

Can't see the hawks having any interest in mittelstadt. He's basically another strome

I would rather bank on mittelstadts success and growth and keep a first rather than bank on Dachs success.
They have both been Injured.. but I really think mitts has a chance to breakout this year.

Side note I love Dach but just not they type of player buffalo needs to bring in rn

What does Chicago need more picks and prospects?

Actual value? 27th OA and a reclamation project doesn't get you Dach just because he had a rough "sophomore" year

I was mostly looking to move Mittelstadt for the challeng of scenery and I don't see him fitting in in the future.

Wouldn't it be a reason to trade him ? I mean, if any team is willing to give him time, it would be Hawks, so no need to give up on him. Also I see no reason for Sabres to trade for struggling young player, when they have struggling young player of the own, who they know better.

I would prefer to give Mittelstadt time, at least till trade deadline. It is rumoured he looks good at pratice, and could have a breakout year.
We can't really tell, if Sabres are going to be in race for playoffs spots, with all that young players.
