A PLD trade starts with one of Cozens, Power, Dahlin, or maybe Krebs but more would have to be added. Mittlestadt is not worth much anymore.

Anaheim declines. There's a reason why Olofsson is The Most Traded Sabre on CapFriendly --- he's utterly expendable.

i'd imagine if the Jets moved PLD, it would have to be for more than a 3rd liner and 2 college prospects.

He is expendable, because younger wingers need playing time and he is in his last year of RFA. It's time to trade him, but keeping him long term isn't bad option.

If that is what brings PLD to Buffalo, I would do it.
Trading for Gibson is big risk commitment - his numbers are not worth 6,4mil for 5 more years alone, yet trading for him. They will be less risky goalies available in UFA.
