Flyers are bad and have too much money tied up in old, bad players and players used to losing.
Flyers are also bad at special teams
Flyers also lack draft pick capital
Flyers also have players who are injured far too often
Allison, Sandstrom, Frost, Tippett all signed to "prove it" deals
J Cates signed simply to appease his brother, who we want.
Trade for Boeser because I like him
Sign Trochek and Leddy because I like them and they're the types of winners we need
Why are all the Leafs fans trading us Holl in their trades?

Taking a look at the first trade involving JVR

So youre asking Buffalo for 16OA + 40OA +~47OA next year

In exchange thats JVR and 5OA.

So to move up from 16 to 5OA based on TheAthletics pick values.

Thats 5OA (8.2) = 16OA (4.7) + 40OA (2.1) + ~47OA(~1.7)

So the picks are more than enough already. Buffalo is taking JVR for free?
