Take Cody Glass instead of Vilardi (skating issues) otherwise it looks good.

dallas is basically moving down from 3 to 5 for a 36 year old goalie that is not even playing that great

I'm assuming that you are saying this without taking into consideration the team that is playing in front of him... Put him on Dallas and I'm pretty sure that their team would thrive like it did in the past... not only does he bring leadership and mentoring skills but as the season progressed this year one of the main reasons that Vancouver was in the playoff hunt was because of his stellar play... but yet again a goalie can only do so much especially if the team playing in front of you isn't great

Dallas also gets to improve their depth up front by acquiring the rights to those assets but they also rid themselves of Niemi who hasn't played this bad in the NHL since his first days with the Hawks

what I think, Jim will never expose Sutter, and sbisa will be taken instead. The Dallas trade is unneccessary, I think Vilardi will still be available at #5, and stars pick a defenseman , so you really are only downgrading your #1 goalie by making him older and more expensive. I also feel that baertshi should be playing along side horvat at all times, and where is Juolevi, defensive prospects in the top 5 usually are on an NHL team by their second season

Hopefully Jim either trades Sutter or hopefully he exposes him and Vegas takes him... I think it would be in the team's best interests to rid themselves of him as Bo and Sutter (once the twins are gone) isn't quite the combo this team needs... Maybe the Stars trade was redundant... but the trade was based on the idea that Dallas and Colorado would be selecting forwards... I like the Bo and Baer combo but I think that Drouin is an upgrade over Baer... Also I think it would be in both Olli's best interests and the team's that he get seasoned a little in the AHL prior to making the leap into the big leagues
