Why would you sign Campbell for 5.5 x 5 when you already have Helly?

Columbus doesn’t need Dillon. Nobody would trade Theodore for Wheeler. Also Fabbri is worth more than Schmidt.

The craziest part of this is that Kristain "Casper" Vesalainen gets a $22 million contract haha

Vegas and Detroit pass, Theodore > Wheeler, Fabbri+5th round pick > Schmidt+5th round pick.

Strong chance that Claude Giroux remains in Florida where he wants to be.

Don't worry about it. He'll never play for the Jets again imo. he'll have a good career overseas. Just not an NHL guy

Vegas takes on more cap for the guy that’s a decade older. This isn’t remotely close for Theo, especially when you add on the extra 3 million in cap coming back to us

I fear you might be right. I also think they are just not utilizing him properly. Starting last year, Maurice had him with Lowry playing a checking role which I don't think is his strength. But at this point... not much seems like his strength... even in the AHL he doesn't stand out (at least in the games I've seen, which I'll admit is limited)

I don't think Detroit wants to move Fabbri, and to be fair, I don't think they will have to in order to pick up Schmidt.

they were bottom 3 defense in the league last year, and full of offensive D. That's a great add for columbus

CBJ would be better off adding a right handed defenseman than adding Dillon

they need any defense they can get as of right now. They finished the year with 3 RHD anyway. Peeke, Boq, Blankenburg (who played well)

I like all 3 players, but I also like Bean, Werenski and Gavrikov lol. Idk how Dillon makes ur defense better tbh.

Detroit offers a 3rd for Schmidt, not more.
