Its unlikely, yes

1. Habs probably take Wright, but same could work with Cooley I suppose

If Montreal takes Wright, we all know they're rushing him to the NHL, likely to his detriment tears of joy

I'm jealous of NJ. I really like Slaf's game and am excited to see him next to Hughes or Hischier.

Now, can you guys stop winning lotteries? You New York/Jersey teams are nearly as bad as Edmonton in that regard. Hopefully you guys don't ruin your picks like they did :P

Would probably be more detrimental to his development having Wright smurfing in the OHL for another year. He's got nothing more to learn down there.

The OHL/NHL rule only is such a terrible thing for the development of the highest level prospects. Go smurf in the OHL for no reason, or likely get caved in as you learn the NHL. Such a rough choice.

I'm not gonna lie, the Kings lucked out in terms of the pandemic because it allowed Byfield to play in the AHL when he normally would not have been able to.

Devils could probably insulate him pretty well with Nico and Bratt. And they could elevate him by feeding him high danger passes with his elite shot

Plus, he plays an NHL game already. I mean the big knock on him this year was that he wasn't very dynamic and played a simple game. While it doesn't pop, it should make him an effective middle-6 NHLer on day one.

I think he's ready, especially if he were sheltered with AJ/Tatar (as a C) or Nico/Bratt (as a W)
