He still has his baggage regardless of the couple good games he had. Zero teams will give a 1st for him. Oh and standing up for a kid like that isn’t a good look.

i’ve had teammates show me pictures like that on more than one occasion weather i wanted to see them or not (I did not by the way but that’s because taking about sex makes me uncomfortable) so i can understand this and won’t call him a bad guy. unless he is dumb enough to do it again.

Actually we might not be able to afford his new contract though. I didn’t realize he was a RFA.

            I’d say something like a 3rd + 4th, or a prospect equivalent to that

            i’d offer Dahlen and a 3rd in a heartbeat.

he would be getting a 1 mil show me deal or 2 year 1.5 bridge deal nothing crazy.

I would’ve said yes if he had one more year on his ELC.

That would indicate no more Motte *and* no more Blais. I’d be shocked if we didn’t bring back one or the other. Especially when it doesn’t cost Lundkvist to sign them.

his next deal is expected to be 1 year under 1 mil or 2 for around 1.5 that shoulder injury in December really hurt his value. he tried to play through the injury but he went from projected 20G 43P to 12 goals and 22 points. he should be back to 15-20 goals 35-40 points next year if he stays healthy and has a good C to play with.

I cannot imagine a San Jose team wanting anything to do with Mailloux. That would be an epic pr disaster in that town.

not really! Sharks don’t have a large media following and those they do have tend to stay positive and would focus on the redemption or leave it alone for a year or two and let people forget. Montreal has the bad PR to deal with.
we brought in Kane with no bad PR same with Torres, Merkley had bad PR when we drafted him and it went over smooth. of any of the NHL teams we would be the easiest for him to transition with honestly.

Can't imagine why Lundkvist would be the "odd man out". Teams need 7 or 8 NHL Dmen to maker it though the season. Having an ELC seems like player Rangers can't afford.
With their cap.....Karlsson and Lebanc have no positive trade value. Even if EK would allow a trade.....at least 4m retention.
Mailoux....can't imagine any team wanting his image problem. Maybe waiting till he's a UFA

I was thinking a package for him like a top forward prospect and a 2nd for him not getting him for nothing.
just seeing whats out there before i write up another sharks ACGM.

I meant that the Rangers will package him with other players like Kravstov or Chytil in a deal.

After all the bull**** we went through with Evander, trading for Mailloux would be the last thing the Sharks need. Especially after he'd been blacklisted by the Sharks during the draft, there's no need to add locker room cancer (and a sex offender to boot) into the team when we spent last season removing it.

After all the bull**** we went through with Evander, trading for Mailloux would be the last thing the Sharks need. Especially after he'd been blacklisted by the Sharks during the draft, there's no need to add locker room cancer (and a sex offender to boot) into the team when we spent last season removing it.

absolutely not a locker room cancer. cut the kid a break it was a one time incident where he did something stupid to impress his teammates. i would be willing to give him a second chance, kane was on his 4th or 5th chance.
