As a Canucks fan have to agree. The addition of Hoglander does help offset the negative value of Myers. But this is a massive underpayment by the Canucks to free up Myers. A second in return would be closest to making sense. Also though, why do the ducks do this while giving up futures?

If anything remove Hog completely, Myers + 3rd for a late pick from the ducks.

Why did no one realize that Myers played his way out of the doghouse last year? He's also got much less term left.

We need the space but he's not a negative player. If we traded Myers and kept like 1.5 million he's be worth an actual return.

Van declines. We don't wanna sell low on Hog.

Vancouver declines, I don't see them trading Hoglander who hasn't proved his talent yet
