Don't think the hawks pay a pick to make that swap. If we have to then we just don't do it. Need all the picks we can get

Oilers probably don’t do that, but maybe another team does. Reilly just wouldn’t fit with Keith in, and Broberg possibly coming up soon. Kulak I would like to keep too, so that would be another reason not to trade for Reilly.

I didn't think the oilers could use him I was thinking about teams that need LD and the oilers came to mind I totally forgot about broberg lol

Yah, don’t worry though! The trade is fair. Some team would definitely do that. Maybe the isles..What do you think?

IDK if it's truly a "swap" since I've heard people say that the hawks aren't signing kubalik so it's like debrusk for a 3rd. who is a young winger for the rebuild and u can always flip him later on for more profit. but I understand ur thought process

Buying out Coyle is a bad idea. Not a friendly buyout.

Honestly, not a bad idea but I feel like the isles have a decent enough LD with Salo coming up

If you want Coyle out u need to buy him out. no team in the league would take on his contract unless u really make it worth it

He has 2 years left. Okay Salo on the third pair for a year, and have a second pair of Reilly, Dobson. I think it could work. Anyways, someone would take him if he’s up for grabs!

I dont mind Reilly if they dont get Kulak @ $3M. I also think Oilers resign Kulak and another D, Broberg and Kulak play RHD and a 2nd D signing does not put Oilers in a bind to push Broberg if he is is not ready (11F/7D). Reilly's extra year makes it hard for him to to be that guy IMO but he is out for a little bit here as well

Yah if Kulak doesn’t come we could use Reilly. I personally would like Gudas, Pysyk, or Mayfield. I think those guys could play well on the oilers, and they would play a good shutdown role. I guess we will see if Broberg plays up here. I think he may, but if he doesn’t, I would love to get one of those guys. 11F, 7D could work too.

No one said they want him out. He might be slightly overpaid, but that doesn't mean he needs to be bought out or even traded.
