I won't comment on any of the other trades, but that CHI trade couldn't be further from being "realistic".

Blackhawks decline; you'd have to give up a lot more to get Murphy

Umm… no way Chicago does that… and they are not retaining 50% of Murphys deal! Why would you do that Seattle deal too?

Blues have no need for Kase and they need all the cap space for Perron, a Backup goaltender, and a top 4 LHD

Take Connor Murphy completely out of that first trade and mayyyybe Chicago accepts. But you're not getting a top 4 guy retained 4x$2.2M without giving up a whole helluva lot more than this. Start with Knies & Niemela and go from there, tbh.

Seattle trade doesn't make much sense from the Toronto end - why not just keep Sandin for LD3 and sign some street UFA for RW4 instead of making this move? It's an easy no from TML here.

I could see Jersey thinking about this one-for-one, giving them a little treat like that 3rd pushes it over the edge. Easy accept from them, minor overpayment from Toronto but maybe Zacha unlocks something playing with Tavares & Nylander.

Not sure if St. Louis wants Kase, but I could see someone giving up a mid-rounder or doing a pick swap like this if they really wanted his rights. I don't think he has a spot in Toronto next year though.

As far as UFA signings - I'd be nervous giving Husso a deal as a full time starter with no safety net behind him. I'd almost rather get two 1B types (pick 2: Braden Holtby/Scott Wedgewood/Eric Comrie/Casey DeSmith) than run with Erik Kallgren as your primary backup. I also don't know if Phil Kessel and PK Subban have to settle for the Jason Spezza Memorial Veteran On A Minimum Contract spots this summer - someone else probably still gives them a $2Mish AAV.

Remove Murphy and MAYBE we can consider that one realistic.

And I don't see the point of that Sandin trade. If Sandin is traded it isn't for an older LD, unless it's Chychrun.

For the record Kerfoot was drafted and developed by the devils but refused to play for them and sat out a year to become a free agent. He's not going to the Devils. That bridge is burned.
