Why would the sabres even remotely be thinking about trading dahlin?

Certainly would be a homerun for the blues. Be equivalent to a 0-162 game season for the sabres

St. Louis generally does not have enough of what buffalo wants in return for Rasmus Dahlin to even consider it.

There is ZERO chance of this ever happening. I don’t care what you offer. If Adams traded him, he should be fired on the spot

Probably in the very small minority but I'd do this deal. I think Dahlin's a little too inconsistent to reliably be a #1. And I really like Kyrou, think he'd do really well with Granato.

Dahlin is 22yrs old, seems to finally have a Coach that is bringing his game out.

We say this every year. Im not knocking his talent, or his performance down the stretch which was very good. But if you look at the #1 dmen around the league (Makar, Macavoy etc.) They don't 35 games of slamming their stick against the post before they get going.

His point totals will go up as the team around him gets better, thats hardly a concern. But his on ice impact like in zone defense or creating offense for others at 5v5 has to be consistent from start to finish for me to want to auto reject all deals for him.

How would this be bad for St. Louis? LHD is their primary need. He's a 22 y/o kid with studly talent that's still developing. Of course the Note would have to unload a couple of contracts, but I'd like to hear your reasoning for why this would be bad for the Blues. I agree it would arguably be bad for the Sabres.

But a young, light speed scoring winger like Kyrou is "bad???" Not sure that's bad. Alexandrov looks like he will be a mainstay third or fourth line center for a while. Perunovich appears like he'll stick in the NHL for a while too. Hard for me to believe this is "bad" for the Sabres.

Kyrou is a star and has near value if not more then dahlin to begin with, perunovich i think will become the next spurgeon, a prospect in alexandrov who will most definitely be an NHLer, AND a 1st. Thats a massive overpay
