who wants to tell them about Muzzin's NTC and LA's interest in a 33 year old LHD coming off an injury plagued year?

Dreaming of clearing 7.6 mil in cap for free. Toronto can just buy him out. Teams aren't doing them any favors without getting compensated

Its not 7.6M in cap, its ~4.7M if boughtout with the highest being ~1.4M. We gave up a first for $6M AAV that HAD to be bought out or else Marleau wouldn't agree to it. We aren't giving up a first for $1.4M, Mrazek will be moved with a 3rd and maybe a B prospect

Cool so if you want the hawks to give up a 3rd and 4th rounder (like in this post) then it'll cost Toronto's first.

yeah OP has a bad take on that. it should be Mrazek+3rd+pick one: Steeves/Abruzzese/Abramov/SDA for our old pal Future Consideraysh

This post has the hawks giving up picks for mrazek. That's delusional. He didn't add that 3rd and B prospect as you said it would cost to move mrazek. So if Toronto wants those picks from the hawks for mrazek, they're gonna have to add their first.

Toronto does not need to give up their first to move Mrazek, I understand it was undervalued the way I had it, but a first ain't it lol

{sigh} Yet another Jake-Muzzin-back-to-Los-Angeles fantasy. Have we reached the thousandth-time level yet? We're looking for a top-level young LD with term like Jakob Chychrun, Ivan Provorov or Mikhail Sergachev, not an expensive veteran who has a poor injury history, and we don't need stopgaps because there are several cheap UFAs that won't cost us anything to sign or pay. And the idea that we would trade Gabe Vilardi for him is just insane.

Yeah I can't lie I definitely misread the trade, thought he had a 4th and 5th going to the Hawks with Mrazek (which still isn't enough)

Can't take a team serious that has KAMF on the 4th line wing. The guy was a great 3rd line shutdown center and was by far the leafs best role playing forward in the playoffs.
