You know Olofsson's previous salary was 3.05 mil right? And that an arbitrator is likely going to give him a raise of some kind.

I just don't see Dallas giving up picks for a guy that is almost unusable at even strength. Olofsson is about as pure of a PP forward as there is in the NHL. Don't see the fit in Dallas

He did improve in 5v5 last year, by a lot.

That's old news bro. The guy is average at 5v5 and deadly on the pp

Think you're off by about 2.7m for Olofsson. Don't see the Sabres doing that, I don't think they bring him back(stupid) but he can be used for something better than that.

It's possible that they move him, personally I wouldn't. The market for wingers was pretty soft last year- see the Reinhart and buchnevich trades. We'll see what happens with fiala, but you can see that even really talented wingers are pulling in less than optimal returns. I'm not going out on a limb to suggest that the talented right d or first round pick that would make sense- are not on the table. He's not gonna be expensive. Keep him.

Suter has a full NMC. Unless he has a girlfriend in Arizona, why would he waive to go there?
