I approve.
Love that contract for Kuemper, can't see Avs matching it.
Could see Holtz starting out in the minors allowing Mercer to retain his spot next to Hughes and Zetterlund drawing in to play with Johnsson and Boqvist.

Probably too much for Patches given their cap

You’re probably right, but I didn’t want to undercut too much. Maybe a mid rounder instead?

Especially if they do find a way to keep Val, it’ll be tough to make sure Kuemper gets resigned

I think that all just depends on how Holtz has gotten better over the summer though. If his skating has taken a good enough step forward, it’ll be hard to keep him with Utica. Ideally I would love for Zetterlund to have a main spot in the lineup as well, but it just doesn’t look right here

The first two trades are extremely lopsided in NJs favour.

Very bad offers and if each team is serious they don't accept those offers.

This was done before the Dadonov trade was announced. They still need to lose a contract though.

There’s room to improve a deal for John Marino, but I felt like a forward for the top 6, and a cheap defense option on the right side was pretty solid for a team that’s looking to make some big resignings.

Zacha isn't a top 6 forward on a good team, and Walsh is just some scrub. He would be 9th on the Pens defensive depth chart and even that is being generous. It's a joke of an offer. No other way to put it.
