And Nemec and Jiricek are great, but not sure so far and beyond great that it is worth trading up for them. But, Jarmo has earned my benefit of the doubt.

Re: FA: Shouldn’t be looking for top-tier RD1 to begin with. There are a good number of B4 RD with size and defense I’ve capability (Rutta, Gudbranson) who could be had for relatively cheap. Plus, I don’t see Jarmo making swings to make this team a playoff contender; rather, more of a progression into just making them better, filling in gaps on the blue-line until we get a better idea of where Boqvist, Bean, Blankey, and Peeke can fit.
