Dumba won’t work out because he has a no trade clause and only a one-year contract. I’m not sure Arizona would claim Bjork, but I guess that’s no big deal. I don’t know if we would have to pay such a high price to get Konecny either.

If that’s all it takes to land TK, Sens should outbid this easy.

Dumba only has a 10 team no trade list. So he could be traded to 22 teams without his consent. It’s also entirely possible Buf works to extend him prior to the deal being completed.

I would accept this if I was GM of MN.

At this point he is damaged goods and no longer the player you think you’re getting. Minnesota would be doing backflips if they get out from under his contract and get a good return to do it. 10 teams is certainly enough for him to decide Buffalo is on the list, at this point you’d have to think most guys have Buffalo on their “I don’t want to go there” list. Which is fine because I don’t want him.

He definitely hasn’t been the same player since his pec injury 2 years ago. I actually agree, I think if a return like this was possible, Dumba would have already been traded. I expect a 2nd or two 2nd for him (D Toews return), tbh.

Yeah, that’s very possible and probably likely. That’s further from his hometown of Regina.

Yeah. This is one of the lowest offers I’ve seen for him. A late first and a B prospect won’t make it to the top ten offers for him.

I doubt Philly even takes this if they add the Vegas pick.
    16, 28 and B prospect?
Does that beat the Lodin, Brannstrom, 2023 first we talked about?

It’s close, but I’d still take the Sens offer there. Better prospect, I’d take Brannstrom over 28 and 16 vs a 2023 first I have to lean with the deeper draft

Just curious as to why you so quickly qualify Ryan Johnson as a "B Prospect"? Just curious about what the scale is, because the only reason he hasn't signed with Buffalo yet is that we have Dahlin, Power, & Samuelsson all in front of him on the left side, that doesn't really leave a lot of room for him. He's a really high quality two way defenseman who's close to NHL ready and has a top4 ceiling IMO, what about that makes him a "B Prospect" to you? Also, note that I'm not trying to be rude here because I know nothing about Senators prospects, but I'm curious what makes him a B for you.

*Edit - I know that Ryan Johnson is a Sabres prospect, I'm saying from the self awareness of knowing that I know nothing about Senators' prospects I'm curious how you are ranking/grading Sabres prospects

Oh, I like him a lot, usually I rank based on what line/ pairing I see them being by using a lot of the prospect ranking sites… I think he is going to be a solid middle pair D,

Lodin is just some very flashy prospect that could be a good middle six player, but will be fun to watch especially in shootouts
