No guarantee Quinn walks from Vancouver when the time comes, people need to stop acting like it's a foregone conclusion

If anything, the Canucks will just trade Hughes to New Jersey when he's in the final year of his contract if they don't want to re-sign him

I mean that’s still very fine, we don’t need to force it we already have offensive D in Hamilton, Severson, Smith and soon to be L Hughes, plus our left side is swamped already

Graves and Siegenthaler are solid, but are they viewed as long-term pieces? That's the question, then you've got Luke Hughes and Kevin Bahl. You've got the personnel, but I wouldn't call it a log jam just yet

Last time I checked, Mukhamadulin is playing RD even though he's left handed, the rest of the guys not named Luke Hughes are all meh

Sieg definitely is, he was easily our best LHD last season. We've also got Okhotyuk and Vukojevic who had great seasons in Utica, plus Mukhamadullin who was a late 1st rounder who we're finally going to get a proper look at on NA ice next season.

Sieg and L Hughes definitely look like the future of the left side, with many solid prospects that could hit.

Too much for Kuemper and Copp. Stay away from Hughes and keep your assets and cap. LHD and LW are the two easiest positions to fill.

So, there's this guy in the system that I really think deserves a decent look... a late round draft pick from a few years ago named Jesper Bratt. I know it's a long shot, but I think Devils should offer the kid a contract. I feel like he has potential.

A lot of Russian players play on their offhand sides for some reason. More so wingers but seeing it with some of the Dmen also.

You see his numbers for the last few years? We can get an on-par or better tender via free agency. I’d think DET declines.

Hellberg or Olkinuora. They were two of the best goalies in KHL last season.

Detroit accepts. The Blackwood of last year wouldn't be great, but the Blackwood of the three years prior would be just fine until Cossa is ready, then decide between him and Ned.

Yeah, it's for a 4th round pick though, so in my opinion that would be worth the gamble. Chances are that 4th round pick never even sniffs a single NHL game, so I'd do it. Start the year with a Ned/Blackwood 1A 1B combo and see what happens.

3.04 GAA, .902 save % year before. That’s a decline 2 years in a row.

2 years of decline and he’s arguably going to a worse team. I’m taking a flyer on him personally, not in a position to trade assets even a 4th in my opinion.

Mr. Ned and Cossa are our future goalies. The backup doesn't need upside.

Cossa isnt ready for the NHL. The upside blackwood brings is worth the risk. We could get a better return than what we gave up if he regains his form from a couple years ago.
