That Edmonton trade IMO is disgusting. No way as a GM do I want that Anderson contract.

The Gallagher trade is the only one here that isn't realistic. It would take more for someone to take him this off season. Beat hope for MTL is he comes back and plays, gets his 20+ goals and has his normal 5 on 5 analytics THEN a team may take him on next off season when the cap goes up

Edmonton & Dallas both decline. That's an awful deal for the Oilers & the Stars aren't paying a 1st Round Pick for Petry.

john anderson is not a good contract and is james neal 2.0 and jake allen is worth a second.


Edmonton passes easily that deal sucks

I believe that with a little retention (i.e. $1M) or another middling prospect (i.e. Kidney) Montreal will be able to trade Petry for a mid-teens first round pick.
