I figured that was a bit ambitious. Foudy hasn't had much of a shot yet, but likely still holds good value and had decent numbers in the A. Swap him for Bemstrom in this deal and it might be more realistic (or up the pick).

I don't think CBJ have any interest in Tyler Myers.

Tough to say, they don't really have a veteran/mentor in their D group and their RD depth is lacking. Despite his flaws, Myers could fill that role quite well.

Depth isn't really lacking, proven quality is. We have Peeke, Boqvist and Blankenburg at the moment and Bean can switch sides. All of them have better analytics than him. We aren't paying Myers $6 million for his -1.0 WAR to play on the 3rd pair.

Gavvy and Werenski are vets, Werenski has been in the league for 6 years. Gavirkov, though new-ish to the NHL has a lot of leadership and KHL/Olympic experience.

Appreciate the replies. The advanced stats sell Myers short this season, he transitioned to more of a shutdown type role and did surprisingly well playing a toned down style (much better than the advanced stats would suggest). He's still a top-4 RD, given how few of them there actually are across the league.

I thought him and Gavrikov could make a very good 20+ minute pairing. Obviously he wouldn't be a long term solution, but it would take the pressure off Peeke/Boqvist and give them time to grow. The cap hit might be too much to justify, perhaps with some retained salary it could make more sense for CBJ.
