You'd have to pay someone to take Mrazek so I don't think that deal for Puljujarvi will fly with Edmonton.

On behalf of the Edmonton Oilers I’d like to propose an alternative deal. Duncan Keith for Mitch Marner. You retain 50% on Marner and I’ll throw in Devon Shore too. 😉😂

-Sharks pass. Meier and Nylander are similar enough in production that it doesn't make sense for San Jose to flip them out, *and* add an asset.

-the words "goalie" and "replace" are being stretched incredibly thin in this statement. very easy pass from Edmonton.

-Jersey doesn't need Holl and he's not worth an early 3rd.

-Value is right for Kerfoot I guess, not sure if Dallas is the destination though.

-take your pick here: a: Chicago is rebuilding and doesn't trade for a 33 y/o LD; b: Muzzin uses his NTC to not go to a rebuilding team; or c: Chicago would need much, much more. all 3 apply!

-I mean, maybe? I think it's just as likely Toronto doesn't qualify him and the Isles can sign him in UFA if they want to. He's a fringe dude at this point and spending an asset on a guy like that isn't the best way to spend your assets.

Timo put up the same number of points on a significantly worse team. If the Sharks got him on a 7.5x8 they wouldn't trade him 1 for 1 for Nylander, forget about adding.

Jesse P. with a career high 15 goals isn't worth 4 million. He plays the style of game the leafs exactly don't need.

What kind of game is that? Defence? Because offence isn’t a problem with the leafs.

Furthermore the trade is terrible for the oilers. That goalie is AHL material.

Now he's injury prone and is NHL quality just no reliable health wise. I'm not saying it's a fair trade. What I'm saying is the leafs need gritty forwards that stickup for their teammates.
