This is just an example directed specifically at a buddy of mine who thinks we should go after bobrovsky and this was his proposed trade. No idea if it's fair but I'm not sure what the real price would be. I imagine we have to give up a prospect as well in that deal.

I made one big splash in free agency (Forsberg played to a $12M market value this year according to The Athletic player cards so this is a criminal underpay) and retained most of the current roster. Bobrovsky causes complications in 24-25 when Power, Dahlin, Lundell, Mitts, Krebs, and Jokiharju are all due raises or extensions. Have to imagine if Power develops as protected, Dahlin continues this season's trajectory and Lundell continues at his current pace, then they eat the entirety of the cap space available in 24-25 and we potentially have a goaltending problem.

Switch out Lundell with Bennett.
