In what universe does Drouin have even remotely near that value?

I would never do that trade, but MacKinnon and Drouin were an unfair duo in juniors, so I've always been interested by the player. He's jut too risky to be worth a 1st tho considering physical AND mental health seem to be an issue for him

That was a decade ago people need to let that go.

I feel like if Drouin landed in COL that the Avs would explore the reunion. Sure it was 10 years ago in juniors, but they've shown that they'll split up the three-headed monster. We've seen Lehkonen AND Nichushkin replacing Rantanen and Landeskog on the top line in these playoffs, so they're not opposed to splitting the top line up. Also the Avs have been linked to Drouin at multiple trade deadlines in the last couple of years

Take out Dallas first rd pick and replace it with Faksa and there’s a deal to be had. Your not getting a 1st for Petry.

No they haven’t, not a single credible source has ever linked Drouin to the Avs because he is over paid for his actual production and he doesn’t play much if any defense. You aren’t going to bump one of Rantanen, Landeskog or Nichushkin off a line with MacKinnon to play Drouin with him.
