Description

We lose Burky, Keumper, Kadri to more money than we can do. Nothing we can do. Market has too much money and those guys deserve to get paid. No way I go for 9mill for Kadri. No way I go 7 mil for burky, Another Grubie moment with K. Shame. Sammy and JT need to go. We get an amazing goalie in Ottenger and give him an RFA money worth it. Krebs would be an asset. Could be a 3rd line Center maybe a 2nd. Has to prove it. We bring back Helm and Cogs to make the awesome 4th line we had this year. Totally respecting Cogs/Helm/OC. Mac is getting a front loaded 11.5mil AAV contract with bonuses not salary to get around the messed up 410Mil Escrow issue owed to the owners. That means EJ and Mac salary takes care of Mac future. Cogs and Helm are temps so their 1.6 goes to the 7mil plus the 1 mil up on HRR we have 8 mil for Newy and Byrum. That leaves 2 mil for extra guys like Ranta and Sikura to help.

Krebs was the main piece Buffalo targetted for Eichel and was on pace for a 38 points season at 21 years old, how could you possibly think Buffalo would let him go for a player two years older with only 20 games of NHL experience and with a significally lower ceiling and a salary dump

A glorified 2nd Round Pick and a solid RD aren't anywhere close to the value of a true #1 with potential Vezina votes in his future and a young, future top-4 defenseman

Majority of your contracts are way undervalued
The trades are just ludicrous.
But the biggest mistake is that you haven't left room to sign MacKinnon after next year.

Only reason Dallas went to 7 with Calgary is in that trade. They have no reason to trade him and will probably have to include Byram or Newhook+ to get them to consider

Krebs wasn't a point per game player his rookie season, definitely a bust at this point

In that case he doesn't sign. He's Between 11.5 and 13 mil on his next contract for 7 years

Stars decline, there’s about a 0% chance they deal Otter and a 0% chance it’s to one of their biggest rivals. They instantly decline, value is also horrible for them.

Harley could easily be as good as Girard while being cheaper and controlled. And Oetter is worth way more than that assuming we would trade him in the first place. Def not to Rado
