Description
These Miller trades are pretty adventurous so we're curious where the value lands with each of these trades.

ASSUME THAT IF A TRADE IS MADE, IT'S BECAUSE THE CANUCKS WANTS TO APPROACH IT FROM THAT WAY. TORONTO TRADE = MORE AGGRESSIVE, PHILADELPHIA TRADE = MORE PASSIVE

If he's coming with Rathbone, I like this a lot more. I still don't think Necas gets moved for a rental.

None of these happen unless Miller extension is done and the contract is fair (7-8m AAV 4-6 years). More AAV and term will scare off other teams. No extension, every team declines.

NYR pass. Only a team that could actually resign him will come close to this offer

Leafs don't want Miller especially if it's going to cost Willy

The closest you’ll get from Philly involving a first is miller and a prospect for the pick JVR and Lindbolm.

I disagree, I think they would. Especially if they got an extension in place

An extension changes everything but without one it's likely that Miller just walks

Looking at all these trades I think the only team who may consider is Carolina. Everything else is a huge overpay

Rath alone could maybe land you that late first and 2nd
I heard they won’t qualify bear so that’s not something they’d care about
Then it’s Necas for Miller… with an extension in place I could see the canes considering this

Miller’s age+contract isn’t a fit for Jersey. But that’s at least a little more realistic coming from a pure value perspective.

There is almost zero chance the Canucks retain on Miller. The deal would have to be too good to refuse, i.e. Schneider, Chytil, Kravtsov and a pick. Miller's low salary is part of his value.

And for those pointing at Miller's age, consider this: Tampa and Colorado have a combined 20 players on their current rosters 30 years of age or older. Of the 8 on the Avs roster, they added 4 of them for this season. If you are dismissing Miller because of his age, you're making a big mistake.

And BTW, I think trading Miller is entirely the wrong move for Vancouver.
