Add about the same or more to Kane. That Markstrom trade is absolutely horrible for Calgary. Arizona doesn't need Soucy. Toronto just extended Gio, they aren't trading him. Driedger isn't worth that. That doesn't get Debrincat, Josi is worth more. Add 4 mill to Cambell. Kadri also gets more. You can't give Gaudreau 8 years

All those trades are garbage for the other teams not named Seattle.

Not a single one of your UFA signings are remotely realistic.

Johnyy Gaudreau $11,500,000 x 7 years.

Patrice Bergeron $4,500,000 x 1 year with Boston not Seattle.

Evander Kane $7,000,000 x 3 years.

Nazem Kadri $8,500,000 x 5-6 years.

Jack Campbell $5,000,000 x 5 years.

Trades are laugh bad for all teams not named Seattle.

The biggest joke is thinking that Matthew Tkachuk signs a $8,000,000 offer sheet when his qualifying offer is $9,000,000 x 1 year. Try more like $10,000,000 x 8 years to sign Matthew Tkachuk.

Just commenting on the Avs stuff:

Kadri is going to get WAY MORE than that on the open market.

Aube-Kubel wouldn’t sign an offer sheet for below his qualifying offer. Why would he sign a 5 year deal?

Avs wouldn’t consider moving Toews for that package. Asking them to add a 1st and a 5th is an egregiously off return.

Anaheim has John Gibson under contract for five more years.

Chris Driedger just suffered a torn ACL at the world championships and rehabbing from surgery could keep him off the ice until April 1; the earliest he's expected to return is February 1. After that, he's signed for only one more season.

And you think that Anaheim would give up the tenth overall selection in this year's draft for him?!?!?

Take the first out and you can make a plausible argument that Driedger is worth the future third because after Stolarz' contract expires, Driedger could replace him as our backup for 2023-2024.

Dubas wouldn't cross the road to piss on Francis if he were on fire after that offer sheet. Which of course the leafs would match.

So COL trades the best player in the deal by far, adds draft picks, and takes back more cap. Yeah that gets people fired.
