I don’t hate the jackets trade, but I don’t see them trading their captain

{sigh} Yet another Jake-Muzzin-back-to-Los-Angeles fantasy. Have we reached the thousandth-time level yet? We're looking for a top-level young LD with term like Jakob Chychrun, Ivan Provorov or Mikhail Sergachev, not an expensive veteran who has a poor injury history, and we don't need stopgaps because there are several cheap UFAs that won't cost us anything to sign or pay. And Muzzin's cap hit would effectively preclude any acquisition of a true #1 LD or a top-line forward, which are our two actual primary needs and objectives this off-season.

I really like that CBJ trade for the Leafs.

Not sure I can think of a reason that the Blues would do that, but I suppose it's in the realm of possibility.

When ever l see a trade involving Muzzin l quickly move on. He isn't waiving his NTC.
