Bratt is definitely worth more, and I'd put good money on the trade rumors being a crock of ****

I'm not sure why NJ would want to move him but, Frank Seravalli is pretty reliable.

If I had to guess it's either a contract negotiation tactic or other teams' interest being misreported for clicks. The only Bratt moves that make sense are one for one, for other elite wingers.

There were also tweets from the Devils nj.com beat writer Ryan Novozinsky confirming from both Bratt's agent and Devils management that contract negotiations are ongoing.

Frank didn't say anything about them moving him. All he did in that video was spew useless nonsense. There is definitely no rush at all to sign him right now considering his is an RFA with arbitration rights. Devils are likely trying to figure out who they are looking to add in the UFA market or via trade before the draft atm

Detroit has no interest or need for Nosek and no one is trading a 2nd for him.

this is my opinion so take it as you will
Bruins need trade two of Foligno,, Wagner, Grzekcyk, Reilly or Ullmark to clear space
Bergeron if he does not retire will most likely sign for 4 mill or less
As for the trades mentioned in this
Wings will 1000% decline this, Bruins will be lucky to get a 4th for Nosek. Might as well keep him, He is good on the PK and had the highest defensive zone starts on the bruins this year.
Preds wont accept this, with Marchand, McAvoy, Grzelcyk and Reilly all out 3+ months, Smith will see much more ice time. Will be one of the bigger point producers along with Coyle next season.
Reilly is one of the trade pieces, just a matter of of a team will to take his contract without giving up too much to do so,, Also coming off a surgery will raise questions.
Bruins don't need Bratt, They need a #2 or a potential #1 center for the future once Bergeron hangs up the skates (could be the year) This trade is pointless and even if it was possible. Bratt will be asking for for 6.5m+ and there is no world where the devils take a 2nd and Studnicka for him.

And Tony DeAngelo is at #6. What's your point?

Lol what the heck is this? Studnicka sucks. Bratt averages a point per game at 23 years old. This is one of the worst ones yet

When both the Devils and Bratt’s agent have said they’re working on it and then Seravalli reports that nothing has started, then I’d say he’s not that reliable.

So is out 2nd overall pick and we’re not moving that either

Nashville had the 1st shot to sign smith and decided against it. No way 2 years later we trade a 2nd a 3rd and a player we just signed

I never said he is for sure getting traded. If you scroll up you can see me saying I'm not sure why NJ would trade him. All I'm saying is Bratt trades don't seem that farfetched considering there are rumours. NJ fans get so defensive. I'm not a hockey insider so yes, I value what one of the most looped-in insiders says.

He’s literally not looped in on Devils news if he’s reporting something like that, that’s been proven to be untrue. I’m not being defensive I’m just telling you the reality of the situation.
