Devils keep Severson, Rangers keep Trouba. No deal happens with that swap, it's ridiculous for Jersey. Wood and 2oa for Lafrenière and 15oa? That gets considered for sure.

Lmao. Take out Vancouver’s 15Oa and they still decline. The first and retention for that package 😂. Our GM declined Lundkvist Chytil and a first. This is worse lmao

I think take the 1st off the Miller deal and make it a first coming from NYR. It will be a very late first, and protected top 10. I would take Kravtsov out and maybe replace Lundqvist with Schneider. Krav is on a team friendly deal and will probably stay on one for the next few years, same with Lundqvist if he plays. Schneider might command more money depending on how he plays, and if he is a potential top 4 defender he won't see the minutes for the next four years. So Chytil Schneider and a 1st, maybe one extra piece for Miller 50% retained. They can also probably sign Copp long term if they do this, and he can replace Miller as 2C.

With this much turnover your team would have the chemistry of an expansion team.

Lundkvist, Chytil, and Kravtsov should be plenty for one-year of Miller. Schneider is as untouchable as it gets.

Our core is the same Kreider, Fox, Shesty, Zib, Panarin, Lindgren, Schneider, Miller. Trouba is really the only guy from core we are moving here. The rest are either kids or role players.

This isn't going for it...it's going for the next rebuild letter.

Plenty of reasons why NYR shouldn't do any 1...let alone all of these trades. Of particular note, it seems each trade is a massive overpay just for the purpose of salary retention. Just not good business. Example: Lars Eller is worth about a 3rd...giving up a promising C prospect and a 2nd? for a 30 something year old on last year of his contract? Yuck!!

Flyers could get more elsewhere. Hayes at 5M for 4 years is incredibly valuable
