They don’t because Philly declines. Miller for 5 OA is taking a buyout and sending a decent prospect back before anyone even as dumb as Fletcher considers

You actually think you're getting more then 5th overall and Brink for one year of Miller?

Yandle? He’s retiring

You let Frost walk?

Wedgewood when Fed has potential to be a starter?

Hayes at LW I’m fine with if our Centre is a better centre than him… Laughton is not

We also have no cap space so any injury would force us to pretty much forfeit games since we have no players traveling with us lol

Np. Some ludicrous deals on this site. But Fletcher’s deal for Risto last year was almost as bad as this. Might even be worse

I'm not surprised. This same guy said Miller is worth more than Fiala+Boldy+1st before the deadline. He likely thinks Miller is Top10 player around the league.

They obviously don't seem to be looking for great prospect, based on their current prospect pool, that's for sure.

He is definitely a top 20 forward in the league, depending how he is week to week he is a top 10 player

Thanks tips, its not the point he is a good prospect, its the point they dont need another short player, Miller trade with Philly would probaby include Attard and Forester for Vancouver to consider

He probably had a Top20 season this year but overall there's no f*cking way he's Top20 forward.

Let's see, on the top of my head I can think of McDavid, MacKinnon, Matthews, Draisaitl, Crosby, Barkov, Bergeron, Stamkos, Point, Aho, Zibanejad, O'Reilly, Kucherov, Rantanen, Marner, Pastrnak, Stone, Huberdeau, Gaudreau, Panarin, Marchand and Kaprizov who are definitely better than Miller is. There's also those who can be arguably considered better as well such as Kane, Ovechkin, Pettersson, Tkachuk, Connor, Robertson, DeBrincat, Tarasenko, Kopitar and even Couturier, although he missed majority of this season with an injury.

If you want size, maybe trade Miller for Anderson. He brings you that size and both are overvalue by their fanbase.

It won't include Attard and Forester for Vancouver to consider. Because Flyers hang up the phone if VAN asks for that. Flyers are not giving 2 prospects up for Miller. Not even if he agrees to an extension or dropping JVR in the deal too. Not worth it. For as crap as Fletcher is I don't think he'd even do that.

Sorry if my comments offended you, I really do like Miller and would love him in Philly, but I think we value him very differently. I don’t see him top 20… not even top 30 as a forward. He had a fantastic year but his last four seasons have shown his production isn’t that consistent… he hops that PPG player line sometimes… he’s either due for a big drop in production and gets 55 points or does a respectable 75 this year, I very much doubt he becomes a 99 point player again….

5th overall in this draft has some elite level talents. Even with an extension in place I don’t see moving 5 OA as a smart choice unless they take a cap dump like JVR and possibly add a prospect like Jurmo

Miller is almost 30, 5 OA could probably get us a young top RHD from some teams
