It was reported again yesterday by Minnesota's beat writer, wild gm Guerin has no interest in trading dumba. Some of you are undervaluing a player like dumba on this site too often

Lol, you do realize that Dumba being in trade rumors on many occasions in the past really hampers his trade value right?

According to you? Guerin doesn't want to trade him. Just because media puts player's in trade rumors doesn't devalue player's worth. Guerin choose dumba over Ryan suter and Parise. Worse players have gotten a 1st, so no it doesn't

Inferior players have indeed fetched 1st rounders, doesn't mean they were fair trades. Nobody wants to trade a 1st for Dumba, just ask around other fanbases. It's guys like you who constantly overrate the likes of Dumba

what fan want is completely irrelavant to player value.

Fanbases isn't measurement of player's worth. There are GM's in NHL that would give a 1st round pick for dumba. Some of you just don't like dumba for other reasons, and not because of his defense which he has gotten really good at.

Just like you overvalue boeser right? You don't know anything about dumba or watch how good he has become on d. He was Minnesota's best d in playoffs

I'm not undervaluing Dumba, I've heard more than enough rumblings justifying against the players stock, and I don't overvalue Boeser either. You don't exactly have a great track record as being a reasonable voice to discuss and debate with on this site

Just like you on every proposal by Canucks fan to send boeser, or jt Miller to Minnesota? What rumblings are that you heard? One by fans on here, when its been said over and over that it's fiala whose being traded and not dumba? Yes, you are undervaluing dumba. I am a wild fan. I watch the way dumba and brodin play together. It's a fact dumba was Minnesota best player on d during the playoffs. Literally you have no facts to prove that you have heard rumblings. Dumba 's character is one of the best in the NHL. Everything he does in the community to bring people of all colors together etc..

A lowball Dumba return and a nothing return on Fiala aside from the 23 1st does nothing for Minnesota.

Neither happen.

7th overall is expected to be in play for Fiala from Ottawa, and you think that will get it done?

You do realize that; that Ottawa offer is literally nothing more than two nothing prospects, a 2nd THREE drafts out, and a solitary 1st in next year's draft.

Which means, that the only piece of value going back Minnesota's way is that 1st.

That is unacceptably low return for a 25 year old PPG 80+ point elite winger. Cap troubles or no. RFA or no. market or no.

So, again. Jesus, no!

not to try to get in any argument but hasn't russo also reported there isn't or wasn't much interest in dumba the past few years? again not tring to get into anything. Just tring to point out other facts. I can't see how the wild will resign dumba either unless again like russo said for about 4.5m

Neither is a lowball offer. Wild fans are notoriously biased on this site

I agree, don't see Dumba getting anymore than 4.5M AAV if he hits the market 2023 (that quietly rhymes)

The Dumba trade rumors have been anything but obscure. You're typically very biased towards the Wild every time you type words in these forums, I guarantee all other fanbases will attest to that

dumba easily makes 6m on the open market. 4.5 is the only way the wild are able to keep him.

NOBODY is giving dumba 6M on his next deal, he simply isn't good enough for that chunk of change

The only thing he's not good at is staying g healthy now. You obviously don't watch him enough to say he's not a 6million dman

(sorry if this repeated ii couldn't find my original)
so the pentaly kill is his bad area from offensive dman. he's a plus 37 in his career. how much time does dumba play even on the pk?? he will easily get 6+million. if nurse got 9.25 dumbas worth every cent of a 6 million contract.

I don't think anyone believes Nurse will be full value for that contract, not a reasonable place to look for a comp

Then what's wrong with Hughes?? 165 points but yets a -24 so he's not worth his 7+million contract because he can't play defense?
