I see the idea Here. I say it's fair it might end up sucking long-term for the pens tho if Anderson doesn't work. It's a risk I could see them taking.

Pitt Gets someone who will word hard Win puck battles, a player that the penguins make better because that is what they do with those types of players.

Montreal Gets A good Right-Hand defenseman that would just slide into their defense and a Winger with some sort of Upside. While only really giving up a second what's okay because they have a lot Picks.

I don't like it because I'm a big believer that MTLs RHD this season should be Savard and then just two rookies or a tough guy and not have an actually capable defenceman at all. Marino's capable and will help with stopping other teams fr scoring goals, which I want them to do.

So it's a no for me on the Habs front

Absolutely not. Even suggesting this as something that the Pens should consider is utter blasphemy. Marino actually provides value to the Pens. Anderson wouldn't.

Anderson's contract should have negative value, but since 80% of NHL GMs are complete idiots, someone will overpay for him.

The other trades and signings in this ACGM are also very stupid but I don't have the energy to go through all of it.

How are these signings stupid? You think signing Nichushkin is stupid?

When did Anderson become a superstar? Did Madden mention him so the carp are trading for him?
