I think it'd be tough to move Cates as part of a cap dump. He was a really great bottom six guy on a horrible team to end the season. I don't think he'd be the prospect to go, but its a close offer.

Someone proposed a deal swapping JVR with Little and it’s absolutely brilliant, saves the yotes several million in real cash

Just those two pieces… Little has an extra year and is paid more in salary this year than JVR. If we wait till JVR gets his bonus the Yotes save close to 5 mill.

Hawks could probably get a bit more for Murphy and would probably also get a 1st with Monahan instead of a second but everything else looks fine
