Trades
1.
MIN
  1. Järventie, Roby
  2. Thomson, Lassi
  3. 2022 1st round pick (OTT)
Additional Details:
I don’t see this happening but if Dorion is dead set on acquiring both a top 6 winger and top 4 defenseman this could be a trade to kill two birds with one stone.
OTT
  1. Dumba, Matt
  2. Fiala, Kevin [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Fiala’s camp agrees to a long term extension prior to the trade being finalized and Minnesota sends a mid round pick to Arizona to retain 50% of Dumba’s salary. If Dorion can’t come to a contract extension with Dumba by next season’s trade deadline then Ottawa could flip him for a 1st +

It's a good trade for both teams.

For Ottawa it really depends what kind of contract they would sign with each player

I still think Ottawa is going to be the team that ends up winning the Fiala sweepstakes. Dumba makes a whole lot of sense for them too if they can find a way to keep him long term, otherwise I would just prefer that Minnesota keeps him and trades him at the deadline because everyone overpays at the deadline.
