Don't see Toronto wanting Tanev.

That goaltending is pretty shaky. Don't want to go into the season with that. I could definitely do without the Senators deal.

Tanev is a no, we have no need for him, with his cap hit, it doesn't help anything either

Easily

Sandin doesn't accomplish much for Ottawa. They already have a similar guy in Brannstrom who they are not huge fans of because of his size. It would be the same story as they'd refuse to play him on RD for technical and size reasons.

If I was in control of Ottawa, I would play Brannstrom on Chabot's RD and let him cumulate points so I could trade him for a more needed/valuable piece.

Sandin is a leftie and they are stacked at LD with Chabot, Sanderson and Tyler Kleven so this is NOT a position of need

And even on RD, they have Zub, Thomson and JBD who are already good or promising

Would I like to get a Top-4 RHD who is good right now? Yes, absolutely and I would even spend the 7th OA pick on finding a Methot for Chabot...

Connor Brown is way way more valuable to Ottawa. He hasn't been the most used Sens forward for 3 straight seasons randomly... He plays in all situations (mostly defensive) but still produces like a 2nd liner.... extremely valuable

SDA accomplishes nothing for Ottawa, Gustavsson does as Murray is injured 50% of the time, at least.

Us as in Toronto. Sandin has far and away more value than Brown to the Leafs. A rental forward who is basically Kerfoot for us rn vs a future top pair d man. No thanks
