    Myers buyout gives a cap credit the first season then about an equal cap reduction the 2nd year. If a team is looking to add about 600K of salary cap this season and isn’t as worried about the following season due to contracts falling off then they might do it.

    I don’t think Tampa is the team though. They could use the extra capspace this coming season but they’ve got a lot of rfas that will be needing extensions in the cap reduction season with only Killorn coming off as ufa (and some other league minimum contracts but they’ll have to be replaced so it’s a wash financially).
