Flyers would declne because with retention they are paying more than saving with getting hoffman. They are trying to probably get rid of half of JVRs contract. not retain and also have 2 more years of Hoffmans 4.5 mil

Los Angeles needs a bottom-6 RW, so I have no objection to the Armia trade at that cost. But the three-year term is concerning.

i would rather take on all of the JVR deal in order to regain some assets. draft picks from Philly will be big considering they're gonna suck for a long time
