Yikes thats nowhere near enough for Bo. Try Schneider (I know, I know NYR fans think he is the second coming of Jesus), Chytil, a 1st and a 2nd.

For one year? Are you nuts. I’m reluctant giving up that much

Then I don’t even know why you though this trade could even happen. You’re giving up Kakko, a 1st, a nobody prospect and a cap dump for the Canucks freaking captain, like what are you on to think that is even a remotely fair offer?

Again it’s one year of Horvat then he gets a raise. I’ll pass on trading for him if these are the prices 🤷🏻‍♂️

Robertson is not a nobody prospect. To you he is lol

You would think Braden Schneider is Orr and Lindstrom combined. He’s just big and physical. Didn’t play all that well in the regular season and was exposed in the playoffs. But he’s already a hall of famer and worth 30 first rounders

Over your head, like many. Cap is everything. Whether our kids blossom into HHOFs or not, the untouchable part is their ELC contracts! Not realizing our future cap leads to TMZ reporting like this

Lol it’s not over my head. I’m talking strictly about on ice value and how Ranger fans hype Schneider up to be something he’s not. Yeah the ELC is important, but to not move him for a bonafide 1B center who fits your contending timeline makes 0 sense- especially when you can slide Lundkvist in there and have an extra ELC year! Difficult stuff to comprehend, I know

Says the outsider lol. Apples & oranges, BS & Nils. Trade all our ELCs, future, depth for 1 year non-messiah rentals, brilliant! Our window is closing lol. Again, future cap.

“The outsider”- I live in Jersey, every one of my friends is a rangers fan and watch them all the time. It’s not apples and oranges from a cap perspective. From a play style perspective, yeah, they’re not similar. You’re not trading all of your future depth and ELC’s. It’s one guy. One guy who’s easily replaceable. And you laugh about the window, but realistically the rangers have 3-4 more years to win a title before that windows closed

Window hasn't even opened yet. Our future cap is crazy tight, only future cap we can unload are Lindgren and Trouba & Kreider after 24 szn. So ya, we Need BSchneider & Robertson going forward meaning Nils & Jones are our trade chips. Up front, 1 or 2 of Kravtsov, Kakko or Chytil would be available. With our ever important ELCs Othmann, Cuylle, Korczak, Berard wisely staying put as well. To package some of these for a 1 year, non-messiah rental is short sighted and unaware.
