Not sure if that's enough for Dach, just looking for a younger center. As stated, maybe a better young winger may help get it done. Back up goalie and 7th defenseman can be interchanged with whoever.

I like how the Hawks are adding a 5th as if the traded isn't extremely lopsided already towards the Rangers

I was just throwing extra content to bulk up the trade. What else gets that done, does someone like Will Cuylle or Othmann get it done? I figure the Hawks are going for a rebuild so they would rather just extra picks.

To deal Dach, I'm sure CHI would want LaF, Miller, or Kakko in the deal...ironically, I can see Nils potentially developing into the best player in this deal- but he just doesn't have the value right now to land a high end C prospect.

Dude looked totally lost when he came over to North America. I’m a believer in Nils game as well but he didn’t play well in the AHL either. He’s too talented not to bounce back but he was pretty disappointing IMO

He did have a rougher go. I always feel like the D-men take longer to develop, especially coming over from another country.

I think they could probably get more for him than he may be worth (a few former first round picks and a few draft picks). I am obviously looking at it as a biased NYR fan lol :P.

Hawks are probably going to rebuild the same way NYR did. Tank for 2 more seasons while selling off other assets and build around a core of DeBrincat, Dach, Jones, Reichel, and whatever else they get. Selling low on Dach would be stupid

playing him with Nemeth was supposed to help the adjustment- yet because Nemeth was so bad, that might have set him back. I still have full confidence Nils will be fine- and will at least be a 2nd pair Dman...and possibly a stud. At the moment though, his value is not where they could move him for a young C- unless a lot more attached to the deal.
