      So is the plan to trade a bad contract to Edmonton before or after you attempt to steal the new Malkin away from them? I suspect they may not be well inclined to love you after the offer sheet.

      Obviously before lol, come on. I would pull the trigger on that trade at the Expansion Draft, also.. retain some salary on that contract and it doesn't look too bad for the Oilers.
