Way too much for Myers, plus he isn’t retained. Should be a no from Dallas.

No, but anyone who's not completely insane would decline such an offer.

Now that’s completely false, there’s nothing worse than Bones.

Defensively...maybe, but that was not an issue in the first place.

Offensively speaking it's almost impossible to downgrade from Bowness.

Myers would be a good shutdown D-man at 3rd pair, but for that role he costs around $3-4M too much.

You'd have to be crazy to give Liljegren that much money. I get people are high on him, especially Leafs fans, but this is a player who was heavily sheltered on a 3rd pairing for just about the entire season. The Leafs had 2 of the strongest puck controlling lines in the league this year, the Matthews line and Engvall - Kampf - Whoever, Their 3rd pairing guys also all had amazing underlying numbers. Sandin and Liljegren sure but also Dermott and Holl in their very limited usage there. The numbers for these 3rd pairers are likely to have been heavily influenced by playing with puck possession forward lines for a strong majority of their ice time.
