As all of us Anaheim fans have stated in response to this proposed trade the several times it's been posted previously, one year of a perfectly good backup goalie (who'd have to be replaced from outside) is worth more than one year of a bottom-6 defenseman (for which position we can find an internal replacement).

Negative value for the Ducks I’d say

I'd argue it's the opposite. You have a goalie internally that's ready for the backup job in Lukas Dostal but don't have a great D-Core, at least defensively after the Lindholm and Manson trades.

Dotsal is not ready to be an NHL back up needs at least another half season in the AHL before that.

And you think that one year of Justin Holl is going to solve that?

Absolutely horrid for Seattle. They aren't givings up three picks, for an upcoming UFA and still miss the playoffs.
The other two trades, slanted for the Leafs.

I don't think the Hawks take Mrazek for a late 3rd rounder, just not enough value
