FINALLY someone who understands what Marino's value is. HE IS NOT WORTH GARLAND 1 FOR 1.

I swear to god Canucks fans think he's worth nothing...

I'm more so talking about the Boeser, Miller, or Horvat values. To me I'd still think it would take more to add to the garland deal. Dont get me wrong Garland is good but like...

I don't get the Marino love. He was really good his rookie season, below replacement level last year, and incredibly average this year. All four of the Vancouver players have been top line talents for the last two years. Marino is at the point where he's not really young anymore, and none of the canucks are particularly old

yeah all the van guys are so great without including a very good goalie and huges and still don't make the playoff.

marino is a great dman and it is pretty obvious.

You’re overrating Marino. His value is not that high especially after a very mediocre season. I’m sure he will improve but it’s not looking to great for him. Canucks pass on all trades you proposed

We were on pace for 100 points after our new coach took over. We could’ve been a playoff team if we had Bruce all year.

Yes they do. I think they’d rather have good players who have solidified themselves as impact players than have an underachieving d man who “potentially” has a chance of bouncing back. Mariano’s value right now is a late first. All of those players proposed have a much higher trade value than that

and so what still did't make the playoffs, plus:

      horvat 52 points in 70gp
      garland 52p in 77gp
      Boeser 46p in 71gp

the only player here who had a good season is miller. that's it.

      30 goals from Horvat
      50 5v5 points from Garland
Boeser had a rough season because his father has been going through dimentia and recently passed away this offseason. I wouldn’t trade any of those guys straight up for Marino. There are many better options that don’t require giving these guys up unless the Penguins add
