I don't know how much I trust Sandin on the right side, especially over Lilly. But I do trust Muzzin will be on ltir most of the season so it won't be an issue for long. Too bad we don't have Holl or even any other nhl Dman to step in.

I think it's more so of having Lilly with Gio since they seemed to have formed a mentor-mentee relationship. I do hope to Sandin and Liljegren as a pairing sometimes so that they can continue to build chemistry.

I think I'd drop the fairytale story line and play him with Rielly. Where he is both needed and excels.

Yeah, you make good point, they can't wait for Niemela or someone else to give Reilly that partner he needs.

The silver lining is that you can have the Gio-Brodie story instead if Muzzin does end up not being in the picture for whatever reason. Sandin on his proper side with a defensively sound RD or reclamation project, but better off having him play mostly with Brodie.

trading 3 cap dumps to a team that is trying to make a last run at the cup with their aging core wont happen
and leafs 100% wouldnt be getting anything back for those guys and would have to add incentives to make the trade happen
