I can definitely see the Wild trading for a tender at some point this summer, but I think this is an overpay for Korpisalo. Guerin also just signed Greenway to an extension, so he's not going anywhere.

Trade or UFA is probably a must.

Yea, every day closer to FA there's no deal with him the chance of re-signing Fleury goes down precipitously. He'll have several options to sign with contending teams. Guerin definitely has a contingency plan in his pocket (sign Holtby/Halak? trade for Samsonov?).

Look, you can replace what Greenway brings to the table. You can replace what Dumba brings to the table. You cannot find goal scorers like Fiala as easily. I truly believe this is the best way forward. I would consider swapping Spurgeon and his contract for Dumba but he is more reliable and has a very long term. We can't shed money anywhere else.
