Really getting tired of seeing a bunch of Edmonton fan posts dumping Kassian in a trade to Ottawa and thinking it's fair value. Ottawa wants top 6 wingers or a top 4 RD. If you want to dump Kassian, the only acceptable return is if you're taking Matt Murray or Nikita Zaitsev back. If you want Connor Brown, the only player Ottawa would be interested in is Evan Bouchard and I'm pretty confident that's a non-starter.

Its like when i see ottowa teams with zaitsev or murray buyouts, it makes no sense to do buyouts when you are not a playoff team. Keep the bad contract for another yr.

Is the "asset to take on Kassian" Tulio? because if you break the trade down into "Brown for 29th overall, Tulio to take on Kassian", then the value is still too low on both parts of the deal for Ottawa
